DELIVERY AND RETURNS POLICY

Delivery Policy

 

Designer Tile Company offers delivery to customers in Greater Melbourne and selected regions of Victoria. The delivery cost will be calculated at the checkout based on your postcode and the total weight of your order. Please note large format panels (TREX6 range) and timber products are excluded from standard shipping calculated via website. Orders outside our selected delivery zones won’t generate a shipping cost at the checkout, instead you will be directed to call our store to discuss your order.

Eligible customers who select the delivery option at checkout will be contacted shortly after (same or next business day) to arrange a suitable time and date for the delivery.

Please note: your delivery will be curbside and contact-free. If you live down a road or driveway that the delivery truck cannot access without causing damage to the truck, we will be unable to complete the delivery and additional delivery fees may apply. If the courier is unable to deliver your order due to absent receiver, additional delivery fees may apply.

Please ensure the tiles are kept safe from the weather post-delivery.

** Please be aware all online orders must be collected/delivered within 30 calendar days of stock being available. Cancellation fees apply if you do not collect/receive your order within this time frame.

Click & Collect Information

 

If you have placed an order online, you can collect your order from one of our Click & Collect locations below:

Location 1 – Showroom: 1664-1666 Centre Road, Springvale, VIC 3171

Location 2 – Warehouse: 17 Healey Road, Dandenong South, VIC 3175*

*Not all products are available to collect from our warehouse. We will advise the options available to you depending on the contents of your order.

After you’ve placed your Click & Collect order online, a friendly team member will contact you during business hours to advise when your order will be ready for collection, and to confirm which location you’ll be collecting from. Please allow 1-2 business days for the preparation of your order.

For all Click & Collect online orders, a photo ID/driver’s license request will be made on arrival at the pickup location to verify the individual picking up the order. If applicable, you may also be asked to present the credit card used to pay for the order.

If you would like to organise a transport company to collect on your behalf, please ensure you quote the invoice/sales order number and name on the order. Please contact us at [email protected] or 03 9558 4933 once the delivery has been booked to confirm the collection date and time.

Returns Policy

 

You have 14 working days from collection or delivery date to return an item. For a return to be approved for a store credit or refund, please make sure your item is in its original packaging, unused and in the same condition that you received it. Return shipping to Designer Tile Company is to be arranged and paid for by the customer. Please supply proof of purchase when returning goods. A handling charge of 20% will be charged on the value of all returns. If your return is approved, we will initiate a store credit or refund of the purchase price (excluding GST) less a 20% storage, administration and handling fee.

Partial returns, spares and leftover tiles will not be accepted for return or exchange.

Please note: It is your responsibility to ensure the tiler inspects the tiles before laying. Designer Tile Company takes no responsibility if the tiles have been laid incorrectly, if tiles with noticeable faults are laid, or if incorrect products were used.
